Police: $150,000 of Inventory Taken From Best Buy Mobile Store

The incident was reported to the Tampa Police Department.

Authorities are searching for four men they say are responsible for taking thousands in electronic devices from a South Tampa Best Buy Mobile store.

Here's what happened around 5 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 31, according to a repot from the Tampa Police Department:

Four men entered the store at 209 S. Dale Mabry Highway by prying open the front door lock. Once inside, they disabled the alarm system and used a sledge hammer to enter a stock room. Then, they used a pry bar to open "several" locked merchandise storage cases.

They took the store's entire inventory, estimated at about $150,000.

The theft wasn't noticed until about 9:30 a.m. when an employee arrived to open the store.

Video footage shows the suspects wearing gloves and hoods.
