About Paul
Paul Clear, owner of Tampa-based Terroir Wine Cellars, got his start in the wine business in 1994, working at one of the top Wine and Liquor stores in the USA, Premier Liquor in Buffalo, NY. Starting as a stock boy at the ripe age of 18, Clear quickly worked his way up the ladder to senior wine consultant in just three years.
Several years later while sitting in a famous coffee chain, Clear mentioned the idea of producing and importing quality wines from around the world and starting a company that gives back to the environment and the Terroir.
Clear hopped a plane to Madrid and started knocking on winery doors, pitching his idea of producing a brand for the US market. Three Trips and over 125 wineries later, he found the place.
In 2010, Palarea Tinto 2005 landed on the shores of New York to critical acclaim and awards. Now Palarea Merlot and Gran Pasion Cava Brut Reserva are gaining national distribution and growing little Terroir Wine Cellars into a player on the International Wine Scene.
In spring 2011, Terroir Wine Cellars began importing Lobetia- a line of organically grown and biodynamic wines from Central Spain. Owning the import company as well as the brands, allows Clear to offer incredible wines at tremendous values.

Hi Paul,
I am working on a feature film that is helping a great cause as well as offering people the opportunity to get involved with the film. I think this would be a great story to write about and tell people. I just wanted to pass this along. …Or If it’s not too much trouble, pledge on something (they are offering great things!) and if you can also please pass this along to your friends.
If I can help you out with anything or the production can help you with anything, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Here is the link for the film:
