4th Suspect in Soldier's Beating Turns Self In

Brandon Jakob Miller, 18, of Tampa, 'was uncooperative and showed no remorse' for his alleged role in a vicious attack on a MacDill Air Force Base soldier in South Tampa, police said.

The fourth and final suspect wanted in the beating of a MacDill Air Force Base soldier has turned himself in, Tampa Police said.  Brandon Jakob Miller, 18, of 16023 Sharewood Dr., Tampa, turned himself in Tuesday at the Orient Road Jail, officials said Tuesday afternoon. When detectives arrived at the jail, Miller "was uncooperative and showed no remorse," according to a police news release. Miller is one of four 18-year-old suspects who police say attacked and robbed U.S. Army Sgt. Johnny Aparicio in the early morning hours of May 13. Aparacio, who was walking home near South Renellie Drive and West Iowa Avenue in South Tampa, suffered a broken nose and had a tooth knocked out. The attack was captured on home surveillance footage. 4th Suspect ID'd in MacDill Soldier's Beating

Detectives are searching for Brandon Jakob Miller, 18, of Tampa and have issued a warrant for his arrest.

The fourth suspect seen on surveillance video attacking and robbing a MacDill Air Force Base soldier in South Tampa has been identified, Tampa Police said Friday. Detectives are searching for 18-year-old Brandon Jakob Miller, of 16023 Sharewood Dr., Tampa, and have issued a warrant for his arrest. Anyone with information about Miller's whereabouts is asked to call Tampa Police at 813-394-9053. Three other 18-year-olds — Geroshe Lewis and Lerome Howard of Tampa, and Jared Richardson of Brandon — have been arrested and charged for their alleged roles in the aggravated battery and robbery of U.S. Army Sgt. Soldier Beating Suspects Described as 'Nice,' 'Polite' by Neighbors

Three 18-year-olds charged with attacking and robbing a U.S. Army sergeant in South Tampa are defended by relatives and neighbors, who say they can't believe the allegations.

Relatives and neighbors of the three 18-year-olds charged with viciously attacking and robbing a U.S. Army sergeant in South Tampa say they're having a hard time believing the allegations against the men they know. WTSP 10 News spoke with several of the suspects' neighbors, who describe Lerome Howard and Geroshe Lewis, both of Tampa, and Jared Richardson, of Brandon, as "nice," "very polite," and "never rude or disrespectful". The three men have been charged with aggravated battery and robbery following the attack earlier this month on Sgt. Johnny Aparicio, a soldier stationed at MacDill Air Force Base. Update: 3rd Man Charged in Soldier's Beating Caught on Camera

Jared J. Richardson, 18, of Brandon, is the third to be arrested in connection with the violent attack and robbery of U.S. Army Sgt. Johnny Aparicio, Tampa Police said.

Update, 3:08 p.m.: Charges have been filed against Jared J. Richardson, 18, of Brandon, in connection with the recent attack on a U.S. Army soldier in South Tampa. Richardson was arrested late Sunday night on charges of aggravated battery, robbery and possession of marijuana. According to TBO.com, officers also seized Richardson's gold 2002 Chevrolet Impala, which they say was used during the beating.
