Common core will soon have the education system discriminating against minorities just like theRead More prison system. It has already been in progress, check it out at Scott Adam's blog article "NAACP demands ignored until Superintendent's contract extended" http://southtampa.patch.com/groups/scott-adams-blog/p/naacp-demands-ignored-until-superintendents-contract-extended

This smacks of big brother. Get involved with your children. Find out what is going on in theirRead More lives. It is called being a responsible parent. Do not let others raise your kids. Let them know you love them. One of the major problems in our society is we have lost the sense of repsonsibility.
The Florida Department of Education on Friday released statewide FCAT school grades for 2013.

The main difference in the past year is the implementation of the Gates project. Sounds like it wasRead More not at all effective.

maybe we can raise the grades if we stopped making every Monday a half day, such BS. When IRead More attended school we din't get a half day unless it was snowing...but my kids (attend Mabry) had a half day every Monday this year...ridiculous !

The big story here is that MaryEllen Elia says one thing when the mic is on and another thing whenRead More the mic is off. See Scott Adams Juxtaposed News blog "Derelict Duo" on Patch.

This is school violence pure and simple. Parents must assume the responsibility of discipline forRead More their child and not some bully teacher or principal I attended Florida schools decades ago and saw and experienced much abuse mainly toward boys. What I learned from these criminals was hate, contempt, fear, feelings of rage and revenge and more violence but not ever respect. If I met one of those abusers today I would spit right into their dirty faces. If I picked up a two foot board and hit someone I would be charged and convicted of felony assault but these people get more brazen with time and get away with their crimes. It is illegal to strike a US prisoner, an animal, a mental health patient, and hazing is illegal as well, but it is ok to physically assault a child? We have perverts (male and female) and I personally know of some that you would never guess, that are employed in our schools and are allowed by law to indulge in their fetish because there is no legislation to protect our children in school. This is disgusting and indicative of a third world country, not the United States of America. It is unbelievable to me that this is still going on.

One of these days , Babak, we may meet. I know you don't like me. After we meet you will like meRead More even less. I can tell you don't have a single fan or supporter on any article you comment on. You are disliked by everyone. Your own dog probably hates you. You strike me as a wife, children, and animal abuser. What a pitiful, sorry existence on Earth you represent. You are the kind of person who has a yard I like to let my dog take a dump in and then leave it. Other than that, you are probably not a bad guy.
