One of the City of Tampa Parks and Recreation facilities, Kate Jackson Community Center is located in Anderson Park in the historic Hyde Park neighborhood of Tampa, just west of Old Hyde Park Village shopping center. Anderson Park contains playground equipment, picnic benches and shade trees. Kids love running through the fountain, which shoots up water from the ground, and is a zero-depth sprayground. Kate Jackson Community Center offers an After School Activity Program (ASAP) for children 5 to 17. Kate Jackson also offers a preschool which accepts 3 year olds and up. Anderson Park is situated on the west side of Rome Avenue between Bristol and Morrison Avenues.
