Sweet Holly Needs a Home

The female Pekines/King Charles Cavalier Spaniel arrived stray and abandoned, but the friendly pooch has overcome most of her challenges.

Holly is a four-year-old female Pekines/King Charles Cavalier Spaniel that arrived stray and abandoned. She was frightened, flea-infested, ravenously hungry and did not know how to walk on a leash.

Holly's challenges have mostly been overcome, and she gets along great with others. But Holly needs treatment for heartworms - a curable condition that need not frighten loving adopters. This mild-mannered cutie will just need a period of quiet recovery, plus the commitment to provide for her continued care and good health. She is available for adoption at Hillsborough County Animal Services.

Do stop by and meet sweet Holly, and ask for animal ID# 1361041.
