Library History Roadshow

Bring your photos, memories and memorabilia of the Charles J. Fendig Public Library to be scanned as part of the county library system's 100th anniversary. The anniversary will be celebrated in 2014, but through 2013 the libraries and the Tampa Bay History Center have partnered to collect patrons' historic treasures. Don't worry: All photos will be scanned on site and immediately returned.

The Fendig library (originally known as the Peninsular Branch Library) opened for service in November 1960 in a rented storefront at 3837 Neptune St.
