Controversial 'Tampa' Book Focuses On Sex Between Teachers, Students

A book called 'Tampa' is being called the most controversial book of the summer.

Author Alissa Nutting went to high school with former Hillsborough County teacher Debra Lafave. Lafave is well-known around town as the good looking teacher who made international headlines for having sex with her 14-year-old student back in 2004.
Now, Nutting has turned the theme of students and teachers having sex into what The Guardian is calling “the most controversial book of the summer.”
A review of the book on Tampabay.com called the book, "a dirty, but dull take on Debra Lafave."
