South Tampa parents wishing to maximize their kids high school sports experience can attend a free seminar.

South Tampa parents and high school athletes are encouraged to attend a free parent workshop hosted by the Hillsborough County Public Schools Athletics Department.

According to a Hillsborough County Public Schools press release, the workshop will examine how parents can help ensure their student-athletes’ experience will serve them beyond the playing field, develop a positive coach/parent relationship, and become more informed about academic eligibility, injuries, and getting cut from teams.
