Solid Waste Spring Day Holiday Collection Schedule

The residential and commercial waste collection schedules will be affected by the Spring Day Holiday.

From City of Tampa Online:

The collection schedule for City of Tampa customers with regularly scheduled collection days on Friday, April 6, will be affected by the Spring Day Holiday.

There will be no residential garbage, yard-waste recycling, or blue-box recycling collection on Friday, April 6.

Residential garbage collection services for customers affected by the holiday will resume on Tuesday, April 10. Residential recycling and yard-waste collection will resume on the next regularly scheduled recycling collection day Friday, April 13.

The Spring Day Holiday collection schedule for the Department of Solid Waste and Environmental Program Management’s remaining services is as follows:

  • McKay Bay Transfer Station and Scale House will be closed on Friday, April 6. Normal schedules will resume on Saturday, April 7.
  • Commercial Services will occur one day after the scheduled collection day. Commercial accounts scheduled for service on Friday, April 6, will be serviced on Saturday, April 7. Commercial accounts scheduled for service Saturday, April 7, will be serviced on schedule. Normal collection schedules will resume Monday, April 9.
