Solid Waste Collection Schedule for the Memorial Day Holiday

From City of Tampa Online:

There will be no residential garbage, yard-waste recycling, or blue-box recycling collection on Monday, May 28. Residential garbage collection services for customers affected by the holiday will resume on Thursday, May 31. Residential recycling and yard-waste collection will resume on the next regularly scheduled recycling collection day Monday, June 4.

The Memorial Day Holiday collection schedule for the Department of Solid Waste and Environmental Program Management’s remaining services is as follows:

McKay Bay Transfer Station and Scale House will be closed on Monday, May 28. Normal schedules will resume on Tuesday, May 29.

Commercial Services will occur one day after the scheduled collection day. Commercial accounts scheduled for service on Monday, May 28, will be serviced on Saturday, June 2. Commercial accounts scheduled for service Saturday, June 2, will be serviced on schedule. Normal collection schedules will resume Monday, June 4.
