Protesters Dressed as Donors Try to Disrupt Romney Fundraiser

No arrests made as Occupy Tampa protesters dressed as wealthy donors get into the $2,500-a-plate event at the Tampa Museum of Art, the St. Petersburg Times reports.

A Mitt Romney fundraiser held Wednesday at the Tampa Museum of Art was crashed by a group of protesters disguised as wealthy donors.

About 75 protesters from the Occupy Tampa movement gathered outside Romney's $2,500-a-plate downtown fundraiser, while a handful dressed in business suits or dresses got inside, the St. Petersburg Times reported. They were booted by police and security officers, and no arrests were made.

Earlier Wednesday, Romney stopped at the Port of Tampa as part of his campaign for the GOP presidential nomination. Romney and criticized President Barack Obama before a crowd of about 100.
