marriage is not a biblical principle. the chineese were getting married 1500 years before the oldest jewish texts that became part of the old testament. marriage is religious TO YOU. there is no logical argument that stipulates it must be religious (and the same flavor of religion) to everyone. for the record i didnt argue that the modern breed of conservatives arent fiscally conservative. my argument is that the issue of fiscal policy has taken the back seat to matters of faith.
