Frenzy Surrounding Petraeus Scandal Descends on Kelley's Bayshore Home

New developments involving another military official surfaced today.

The media circus surrounding Jill Kelley's involvement with former CIA director David Petraeus and Gen. John Allen reached a fever pitch on Tuesday as news trucks from local and national media outlets camped out near the Kelley home on Bayshore Boulevard.

No one answered the door at the home of Jill Kelley, whose report of "harassing emails" from Petraeus' biographer Paula Broadwell led to the CIA director stepping down from his post last week.

Neighbors near the Kelley's home said news outlets from Extra to Inside Edition had approached them asking for comment.

One neighbor stood on his porch while news crews stood behind the Kelley's home nearby.

"I don't know them," he said, adding that national news outlets had approached him earlier in the day. "I just moved here."

Today, The Associated Press reported that Allen, a U.S. commander in Afghanistan, is being investigated for communicating with Kelley.
