'Batman' Protests Romney in Tampa

Protester Mike Long decided a Dark Knight Batman costume was the best outfit to wear to Gov. Mitt Romney's rally in Tampa on Wednesday.

"We're out here protesting Romney's policies that favor the rich and the wealthy over the average person," said Long, 26, of Ybor City.

The costume was partly a celebration of Halloween, but also symbolic.

"I think the larger message is on Halloween Mitt Romey's policies are truly scary," he said.

Long expected about 10 more costumed protesters to join him later on Wednesday.

Fellow protester Alyssa Depiro of Largo showed up dressed as a 1950's housewife.

The 19-year-old explained, "It's what Romney is trying to send women back to being."
