From City of Tampa Online:
Four new, different food trucks will join on Wed., Jan. 4. The event is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Lykes Gaslight Square Park on Franklin Street between Madison Street and Kennedy Boulevard.
"By including different food trucks, we can build on our success, continue to generate buzz, attract new people to the downtown core, and support a unique community of local, small businesses," said Mayor Bob Buckhorn. "I encourage everyone to come to downtown next Wednesday, and sample some of what the food trucks have to offer."
In conjunction with the Tampa Downtown Partnership, the Mayor’s Food Truck Fiesta was first launched in Lykes Gaslight Square Park last November. After a successful debut, four new food trucks were added to the Fiesta's roster in December, and four different, new food trucks will be added in January.
The January Fiesta will feature the following food trucks: Maggie on the Move, Wicked 'Wiches, Killer Samich, Burger Culture, Fire Monkey, Taco Bus.
The four new food trucks are: Keepin' it Reel, Jimmy Meatball, Americanwiener, and Bollywood Cafe.
The Mayor's Food Truck Fiesta will be held the first Wednesday of every month at lunchtime from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in downtown Tampa. For additional information, visit www.tampagov.net/foodtruck.
