Want to Report a Crime? Use TPD's New Mobile App

Chief Jane Castor unveiled the department's new mobile app. With the popularity of social media in law enforcement and ever improving technology, the Tampa Police Department is taking the next step in digital crime fighting with a state of the art mobile app. TPD worked with Cloud Space Mobile to create the app customized to the department's specific needs.

Citizens can report crime tips, neighborhood issues, check out unsolved crimes, Tampa's most wanted and contact their school resource officer.

They can also create a digital library with photos and serial numbers of their valuable electronics, jewelry, family heirlooms, etc. This information can be emailed directly from the app to law enforcement should citizens ever become victims of crime.

Download the app today. You can find it in the iTunes and Google Play stores.
