Thieves Target Unlocked Doors and Open Windows

Saturday, April 28

  • A burglary was reported at 5821 S. 5th St. The culprit entered the residence through an unlocked front door and took a desktop computer, two knives, and a Maglite.

Sunday, April 29

  • An auto burglary was reported at 533 S. Howard Ave. The culprit reached into the open window of the vehicle and stole a HTC Sensation cell phone, a Garmin GPS unit, a Sirius radio, and a cell phone charger.
