Police: TV, Defibrillator Stolen in Separate Incidents

The incidents were reported to the Tampa Police Department.

Electronics and medical equipment are among items taken from South Tampa hotels and vehicles over the past few days, according to reports from the Tampa Police Department.

Here's what happened in both incidents, according to reports from police:

  • Sometime between Saturday and Monday, someone got into a vacant room at the Extended Stay Hotel at 4312 W. Spruce Street and took the flat screen TV that was bolted to the wall. The value of the TV was $400.
  • Sometime between Monday and Tuesday, two unlocked vehicles were burglarized at 417 Royal Poinciana Drive and 4223 W. San Juan. Taken were a Carrabba's gift card, a laptop and a medical defibrillator.
