Elderly Man Missing After Leaving Downtown Tampa Courthouse

Tampa Police are looking for 82-year-old Alfonso Rodgers, who was last seen leaving the Courthouse Annex in downtown Tampa early Tuesday morning.

Tampa Police officers are searching for an 82-year-old man who suffers from memory loss and who went missing from a downtown courthouse Tuesday.

Alfonso Rodgers was last seen leaving the Courthouse Annex at 401 N. Jefferson St. early Tuesday morning, March 20. He exited the building and started walking westbound on Kennedy Boulevard toward the downtown area, officials said in a media release.

Rodgers often gets confused, officials said, and his family is concerned that he will not be able to find his way back to his Ybor City home.

The man was last seen wearing gray dress pants, a waist-length leather jacket, a red shirt with a white shirt underneath it and a brim hat.

Officers are asking anyone who recognizes Rodgers to call the Tampa Police
