4th Suspect ID'd in MacDill Soldier's Beating

Detectives are searching for Brandon Jakob Miller, 18, of Tampa and have issued a warrant for his arrest.

The fourth suspect seen on surveillance video in South Tampa has been identified, Tampa Police said Friday.

Detectives are searching for 18-year-old Brandon Jakob Miller, of 16023 Sharewood Dr., Tampa, and have issued a warrant for his arrest.

Anyone with information about Miller's whereabouts is asked to call Tampa Police at 813-394-9053.

Three other 18-year-olds — Geroshe Lewis and Lerome Howard of Tampa, and Jared Richardson of Brandon — have been arrested and charged for their alleged roles in the aggravated battery and robbery of U.S. Army Sgt. Johnny Aparicio. Miller faces similar charges, Tampa Police spokesperson Janelle McGregor said Friday.

Investigators say Aparicio was attacked around 3:30 a.m. May 13 near South Renellie Drive and West Iowa Avenue in South Tampa as he was walking home. The attack was captured on home surveillance footage.
