It's only been a year since I took the helm as local editor of South Tampa-Hyde Park Patch.
As they say, all good things come to an end.
On Oct. 15, my position will be eliminated as part of a re-organization at Patch. You can feel free to continue sharing your photos and blog posts, but no local reporters will be covering news in the community.
All I can say is thank you. Thank you for the story ideas, news tips, feedback and most of all, the opportunity to cover your community.
