Duckwall Lecture Recalls 'A Land Remembered'

Few books have captured the spirit and colorful
history of Florida as well as Patrick Smith's beloved novel, A Land
Remembered. It has been said that people should be issued a copy when they
cross the Florida state line.

Get to know the author and his work as
Smith's son, Rick, takes the stage for the History Center's 2013 Duckwall
Lecture on Tuesday, Jan. 22 at 6:30 p.m.

Video clips, photos, paintings
and music will transport you to a Florida that once was, is no more, and never
will be again.

Presented live at the Tampa Bay History Center Tuesday,
January 22 at 6:30 p.m.

Call (813) 228-0097 for more information. This
event is free and open to the public.
