Have You Seen William Damon?

The family has not heard from the Plant High School student since Monday, Nov. 21.

Tampa Police are asking for the public’s help finding a Plant High School student, according to a TBO.com report. 

William Damon, 16, left his Tampa home to travel in the Orlando area on Saturday, Nov. 19.

At 4.01 p.m. Monday, Nov. 21, Damon texted his parents to say he was on his way home, according to TBO.com.

But family and friends have not heard from him ever since. Damon was last seen in Winter Park.

Authorities have issued a statewide alert.

The Tampa Police Department is working with the Winter Park Police Department, Volusia County Sheriff's Office and the Florida Highway Patrol in a coordinated effort on the search for the teen, a Tampa Police release said.

The Florida Highway Patrol is searching the teen's route home via air and the highways. The Volusia County Sheriff's Office and Winter Park Police Department are conducting interviews and following up on leads, according to the release.

Damon is 5-foot-10, 160 pounds and has very short brown hair. He was traveling in a 2007 dark blue Nissan X-Terra with the tag “457XXG.”
