Plant High Football, Occupy Tampa and More on Patch Last Week

Here’s a look back at some of last week's news and features.

1. - Despite a large graduating class, the Plant Panthers have reloaded and look as promising as ever this spring.

2. - Detectives search for Brandon Jakob Miller, 18, of Tampa and have issued a warrant for his arrest.

3. - Preventative maintenance on a water filtration system was to blame for the Wednesday morning closures in Bradenton and around the country. Two South Tampa Starbucks locations were open Wednesday afternoon.

4. - Wednesday was the first day of a 5-day-long rally organized by Occupy Tampa in downtown.

5. - Mayor Bob Buckhorn cut the ribbon and celebrated the completion of the next two sections of the Tampa Riverwalk on Friday.

6. - South Tampa unmarried couples living together will be able to have some of the same rights as married couples in one month.

7. - Screen on the Green will take place every other Friday until August.
