12th Annual Clean Air Fair on May 9 in Downtown Tampa

The fair was postponed last week due to rainy weather.

The Environmental Protection Commission's 12th Annual Clean Air Fair is heading to downtown Tampa this week.

The free fair will be held from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 9 at Poe Plaza. The lunchtime event celebrates May as Clean Air Month, and will include community exhibits, health information, drawings for prizes and live music.

This year's theme is "Environmental Protection Through Neighborhood Connection," and will focus on ways to reduce environmental impacts, energy efficiency and alternative technologies, according to a Hillsborough County press release.
