Fall Street Party, Craft Beer Fest in Hyde Park Village

Hyde Park Village presents the second annual Fall Festival & Craft Beer BREWhaha on Saturday, October 12 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. It's a delightful and frightful family-friendly night full of fun. Goblins and ghosts of all ages will enjoy thrills and chills throughout the pedestrian-friendly streets of Hyde Park Village.

Come in costume for free family fun that includes trick-or-treating, pet trick-or-treating, hay rides, a caricature artist, bounce house, face painter, performances by Ms. Lisa’s Dance School, live music from rock band Rising Down, HOT 101-5’s DJ Change spinning the latest hits and the big game on the giant LED screens.

For guests 21 and over, Blue Moon Brewing Company offers an impressive line-up of seasonal craft drafts including Warsteiner Oktoberfest, CCB Good Gourd, Brooklyn Post Road Pumpkin, Abita Pecan Harvest, Ayinger Oktoberfest, Sam Adams  Oktoberfest, Blue Moon Fall Pumpkin and Yuengling Oktoberfest.

Tempt the palate with tasty treats from gourmet food trucks and enjoy classics like cotton candy, kettle corn, funnel cakes, hot dogs, brats, soft pretzels and freshly squeezed lemonade.  

Visit the Pumpkin Patch for plump pumpkins and dare to be scared in the new Wicked Warehouse haunted house where unseen spooks surprise from every angle.  Family-friendly scares are from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Don’t miss these 'spooktacular' event participants:  Racing & Reks, Tampa Fire Rescue’s Antique Fire Truck, The Florida Aquarium, Glazer Children’s Museum, Tampa Bay Lightning, Sweetbay, John Casablancas Modeling, Tampa Bay Muay Thai, Bangin’ Bungee, GREAT Greyhound Rescue, Covenant Life Church, Pro Martial Arts, AJ's CIGARS TO GO of Tampa, KidzArt and Francesca’s Collections.   Some activities require a fee.  

It’s all about treats for the furry ones at Veterinary Medical Clinic’s tent.  As the official Pet Trick-or-Treat stop, pets receive festive goodies and a chance to cool off and relax in the Doggie Splash Zone.   

The streets close at noon at W. Swann/Dakota Avenues; S. Dakota/ Snow Avenues; Snow/S. Rome Avenues and reopen at approximately 11 p.m.  Arrive early for the best parking.  Overflow parking is available at Sweetbay and Hyde Park Presbyterian Church.
