South Armenia Avenue is closed between W. DeLeon Street and W. Swann Avenue for the majority of today (Thursday, Jan. 24) for the installation of a service line by the water department.
The closure on Armenia is in both directions beginning at 8 a.m. today between DeLeon and Swann, according to the Tampa Water Department.
Local detours are posted for traffic that approaches the intersection, water department officials said.
Repairs will be done by 3:30 p.m. today. Road restoration and normal traffic patterns will resume by 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 25, water department officials said.
Drivers are being encouraged to seek alternative routes until Friday.
