Safety Tips, Cotton Candy and Live DJ at National Night Out

Events will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 1.

In honor of the 30th anniversary of National Night Out, city officials and law enforcement agencies are encouraging Tampa Bay residents to come out and celebrate in a few weeks.

From 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 1 at Target, 1544 N. Dale Mabry Highway, there will be free fingerprinting, bicycle registration, K-9 units, horses, motorcycles and bomb squad units from the Tampa Police Department, cotton candy, snow cones, a live DJ and more.

Attendees will learn about safety tips, and have a chance to meet Mayor Bob Buckhorn and Police Chief Jane Castor.
