Fundraising Gala to Benefit Humane Society

Animal lovers are invited to an evening of live entertainment, complimentary wine, an elegant dinner, a cigar bar, live and silent auctions and a fashion show by the by adoptable pets during the 11th annual Tuxes and Tails Fundraising Gala.

The gala, to benefit the Humane Society of Tampa Bay, will take place Saturday, April 20 from 6 to 11 p.m. at the Tampa Marriott Waterside, 700 S. Florida Ave., Tampa.

This event serves as one of the major sources of donation income directly benefitting the Humane Society's animals, programs and services.

Celebrities who will model with adoptable pets include Hillsborough County Commissioner Kevin Beckner; Charley Belcher, Fox 13 News; Jackie Callaway, ABC Action News; Tampa City Councilwoman Yolie Capin; Ginger Gadsden, 10 News; Mayor Dick Greco and Dr. Linda McClintock Greco; Hillsborough County Commissioner Ken Hagan; Ernest Hooper, Tampa Bay Times; Bill Logan, ABC Action News; Dan Maduri, Genesis Communications; Lindsay Milbourne, Fox 13 News; Jerome Ritchey, Studio 10; Wendy Ryan, ABC Action News; Michael Stewart, owner, 717 South; John Thomas, ABC Action News; Cathy Unruh, journalist, philanthropist and author; and Kristin Wright, Fox 13 News.

Tickets are $125 per person and include complimentary wine, dinner, the event
presentation and fashion show, and the post-event complimentary cigar bar along the water.
