Free Classes, Programs at John F. Germany Public Library in August

From books and bagels to computer boot camp, find out what free events are going on at your public library this month.

The will, like much of the rest of the city, experience some oddities this month thanks to the Republican National Convention.

The library will close its doors from Aug. 20-31 avoiding any craziness spilling over into library functions. This change to the ordinary schedule, however, doesn't mean there is a shortage of events for you to participate in at the library in the meantime. Here is a list of this month's happenings at the library.

  • Books and Bagels at 10:30 a.m. this Saturday

Summer Reading is done for the year, but have no fear, the best of summer is here. With games, stories, food and fun, the library staff invites you to do it again.
