Tis' the season for special holiday offers on American Red Cross courses and products.

This information was provided by the American Red Cross regarding discounts they are now offering through January.

Each year, nearly 4 million people learn how to save a life in American Red Cross First Aid and CPR/AED training classes. People on Florida's west coast can take advantage of special offers now through January 31.

"Emergencies occur every day, but with travel, extra stress and large gatherings, people are even more susceptible to accidents and illnesses during the holidays," said Linda Carbone, CEO of Florida's West Coast Region and the
Tampa Bay Chapter. "Make sure your family and household members have the
skills and confidence to act in an emergency until help arrives."

People can save 20 percent on the price of a First Aid and CPR/AED course.
Participants learn how to perform CPR and use an AED, what to do if someone is
choking, and how to prevent and respond to other emergencies. How to control
bleeding as well as how to care for seizures and other sudden illnesses are
also covered.

Red Cross First Aid and CPR/AED training helps meet OSHA standards and professional licensure requirements. Courses are offered in traditional classroom and blended learning formats. Blending learning is a combination of online learning and a shorter in-person skills session.

The course fee includes a 2-year certification with online skill refreshers and digital materials.

People can call 1-800-REDCROSS or go to redcross.org/takeaclass for course
schedules and to register. Use HOLIDAY0113 as the coupon code to receive the
20 percent discount.

Yes I agree with you that emergency can occur at any place and for that such trainings programs are essential so that whenever there is a sign of sudden cardiac arrest, then the life of the victim could be saved. A trained operator knows when to activate the EMS system with such programs they become familiar with the device and then they can easily operate it in an emergency situation. http://www.hibernianhealth.com/serviceDetails.php?id=1
