The inaugural session of a networking group at the Campo Family YMCA in Valrico is scheduled for Jan. 5 from 11 a.m. to noon, with lunch sponsored by the Barnacles restaurant in Brandon on Providence Road. The group intends to meet the first Thursday or every month, at the Campo Y at 3414 Culbreath Road. Reservations for the first meeting must be received by Jan. 3. More About Campo Family YMCA
In addition to a full range of workout equipment including weight machines, stair-steppers and stationary bikes, the Campo Family YMCA features indoor basketball courts, a play zone for younger children, a swimming pool and a splash and slide pool. It offers swimming lessons from March to October, exercise classes throughout the year and a Silver Sneakers program geared to senior citizens.
