BIG DOG RANCH RESCUE LOOKING TO WIN THE ASPCA $100K CHALLENGE AND SAVE MORE SHELTER DOGS

BIG DOG RANCH RESCUE IS ON A MISSION TO SAVE MORE SHELTER DOGS THROUGH THE ASPCA $100K CHALLENGE.  The mission?  Save 467 dogs. The prize? Happy pets, owners and $100,000. This is the goal for Big Dog Ranch Rescue, located in Wellington, FL, as it competes with 50 shelters across the country in the 2012 ASPCA $100K Challenge.

According to vice president Meg Weinberger, "the rescue must double its adoptions between the months of August, September and October to win $100,000."  This will allow the Big Dog Ranch Rescue, a 501(c) non-profit organization, to save more dogs in high-kill shelters.

Big Dog Ranch Rescue, one of the largest no-kill shelters in Florida, is now coming on the home stretch in their $100K quest.  Although located on the east coast, the Ranch has an adoption team on the west coast to assist in finding more "furever" homes for many rescued dogs.  If you are interested in providing a loving home for a shelter dog, click here to visit their website.  Even if you are unable to adopt at this time, you can make a donation (which is tax-deductible) to go towards the adoption of one of their rescues.

Big Dog Ranch Rescue is located at 10948 Acme Road, Wellington, FL 33414.  Their phone number is561-791-6465 or 561-309-3311.
