Looking for a reasonably priced, tasty Malbec? Check out my Wine of the Week to see if it will WOW you.

Malbec lovers, I decided to feature a Wine of the Week that might tempt your palate.

Durigutti Malbec 2009

Color: Deep garnet.

Bouquet: Lush with lots of fruit, acidity and vanilla on the nose.

Taste: Vanilla follows through with chocolate, strawberries and herbs. Seems a bit clumsy and hot but overall pretty tasty.

Avg Retail – $11-$14

Stars: 3 out of 5

Rating System:

1 Star = Disappointing wine - Pass on this one.

2 Stars = Average value for the price.

3 Stars = A good to very good value - Worth picking up a few bottles.

4 Stars = Excellent Value - Over-delivers for the price charged.

5 Stars = A special wine - Either because it’s a tremendous value or it's an exceptional wine.
