What Do You Recommend at Pipo's?
What's your favorite menu item at Pipo's Cafe?
"What Do You Recommend?" is an occasional feature that asks Patch readers to weigh in on their favorite menu items at local restaurants and bars.
Pipo's has been serving South Tampa since 1979 and is a South Tampa favorite amongst locals.
In a community where Cuban influence is as common as the oak trees that line its streets, Pipo's has proven a successful brand thanks to its traditional Cuban dishes.
From ropa vieja and roasted pork to breaded steaks and cuban sandwiches, Pipo's has built a brand based on three ideals: Originality, authenticity and tradition. While the owners have opened multiple storefronts, the original location in South Tampa has remained the best known Pipo's Cafe around.
So, we want to know what you think. If someone's visiting for the first time, what do they HAVE to try? Post your menu picks in the comment section below.
