After starting her career in the fashion industry, Chef Trina Nguyen-Batley (aka BT) got her restaurant career started 24 years ago with a fashionable late night cafe in North Tampa. These days, she is creating critically acclaimed innovative French Vietnamese cuisine in South Tampa with Restaurant BT.
BT is an upscale restaurant featuring locally grown foods. Daily specials reflect those ingredients that are in season.
After years of being the hottest attraction in Hyde Park Village, BT moved her restaurant to South MacDill Avenue where she still finding success. Open for both lunch and dinner, BT serves a variety of dishes to please the pallate, from octopus carpaccio to beef tenderloin.
