Tampa Family Takes Multi-Camera Approach at Paul Ryan Rally

The Bryan Anderson family of Tampa will upload their home video to share with out-of-state relatives who also support the Romney-Ryan ticket. The Andersons are family business owners who say they're worse off now than four years ago.

One camera was not enough for the Anderson family of Tampa, who was on a mission to make a great home-video of the Paul Ryan rally Saturday.

The family stood in the middle of the crowd at R.E Olds Park in Oldsmar with their cameras pointed toward the center of the stage where the Republican Vice-Presidential nominee was scheduled to address the crowd. Bryan Anderson, 46, manned a videocamera mounted on a tripod that offered a bird's eye view above the crowd. His daughter, Lyndsey, 8, used a cell phone to record, while wife Andrea, 45, and son Kevin, 13, looked on.

Bryan Anderson plans to upload the completed video to YouTube, so it can be shared with out-of-state family members who also support Romney. However, for Anderson, the rally meant more than just making a video.

"I'm here to support my candidate, Mitt Romney," he said.

His wife Andrea, also plans to vote for Romney. She reflected on what the last four years have been like for her and her family.

"We're completely worse off. My husband owns his own business, he started his own business, he built his own business. We need to support people who know how to run businesses."

Bryan Anderson owns a styrofoam recycling company that's been impacted by the bad economy. However, other businesses have not been as fortunate as his.

"It's hanging in there. But, as we're going around looking for new business, especially at the industrial parks, we're noticing a lot of businesses are not there anymore."

Andrea Anderson thinks the answer to the struggling economy is simple.

"We need to make a change. Obama's change didn't do it. Romney, he's our only hope."

I would like to see this video and I'm sure my parents would. They live in Clearwater FL and went to see Ann Romney in Largo. They got tickets and waited in line in the heat and unfortunately when they got to the front of the line the building was full and they were turned away. Then they got tickets to see Paul Ryan and were very excited but then my dad got sick from heat exhaustion as they waited and was taken by ambulance to the hospital. I'm sure they would love to see that video.

I know! then there was a tropical storm in the gulf that messed up the RNC plans...and then there was this senior citizen who kept talking to an empty chair...I think god has a special message for the GOP!

A lot of businesses aren't there anymore? That would be free-market capitalism working as Republicans claim it should. However, Republican free-market theory only appears acceptable if it results in prosperity; if it results in business closures due to a shrinking economic landscape, it must be the government's fault.

If a business is successful, they "built it" all by themselves without the support of government provided infrastructure or protection (roads, electric grids, sewage, defense etc.). If business slows, all the blame is lumped on the sitting president even if he inherited an economic catastrophe. We need to invent a new word to describe hypocrisy built on cherry-picked facts, a refusal to employ logic, and a one-sided application of economic principles. I suggest we just use "2012 Republican" and save some time.

To EB...You seem to forget one fact. We the People paid for the roads and infrastructure on which all of us travel. The Government uses our tax money to accomplish this. The Government cannot give to anyone(roads,sewers.bridges,benefits,etc.), what they don't first take from someone else(taxpayers). People who built a sucessful business deserve the credit for that business. I am a registered Democrat who had great hopes for Obama when he was elected. He had 4 years and has failed .He came in with full control of both the house and senate. I'm tired of his "blame Bush game". It's getting old. I think it is time to let someone else try to fix our economy and lack of enough jobsetc., I respect every persons right to vote for and support the candidate of their choice. My choice is dictated by the person and lack of progress I see, not by party affiliation.

Sharon, I understand the funds come from the taxpayers but without the organizational structure of government it simply isn't possible.  Free market theory won't create and sustain economical infrastructure because the profit margin is far too low.  However, even granting your premise, I can switch gears and talk about subsidies and small business loans that allow these businesses to thrive against the tide of free market economics.  This is made possible through Americans acting in the collective; the government is an embodiment of American persuits not a separate entity to be summarily derided.  Finally, the "he had full control argument" is exhaustingly flawed...please take a moment to research the Republican use of the filibuster in the first two years and the number of close votes that were defeated by a minority that misused this procedural tool to require 60 votes to accomplish anything.  Oh, and just because a person disagrees with you doesn't mean they are an unthinking partisan.

People, people, are you serious? Obama has stablized the country. How can you expect the man to magically completely fix in 4 years what it took 8 years beforehand to screw up. Did you ever stop to think maybe more could have been accomplished if there had been cooperative efforts in Congress? The Republicans set out to bully and show everyone just how tough they are; and we all paid for it.
