Sunshine Returns for Week Ahead, Eventually
Rain chances diminish around the South Tampa area as the weekend approaches, but not without a few more clouds first.
South Tampa residents looking to get out and enjoy some sunshine will get their chance toward the end of this week, but not without some more thunderstorms on Wednesday.
According to the National Weather Service website, Wednesday afternoon carries with it a 40% chance of thunderstorms with the skies clearing as the sun sets.
With the arrival of Thursday, the skies will clear with only a slight chance of rain through Saturday. Sunday will pack some scattered showers, but the forecast still predicts a mostly sunny day.
The afternoon highs during that span will reach the low 90s, with Saturday predicted to be the hottest day with a high of 93. The lows will be in the high 70s each night, with tonight's low of 76 the coolest.
