South Tampa Voters Head to the Polls
Some South Tampa registered Republicans headed to cast their votes on their way to work early this morning, Jan. 31.
As today’s 2012 Presidential Preference Primary polls opened at 7 a.m. in Hillsborough County, South Tampa registered Republicans headed out to cast their votes for the GOP candidate they think is best suited to beat President Obama in the fall.
In some Palma Ceia and Bayshore Gardens’ polling places, the flow of voters has been steady throughout the morning.
Most folks headed to the polls on their way to work, rushing to their cars after casting their votes, too pressed for time to leave any comments.
“I voted for Mitt Romney,” said Doug McCree before entering his SUV at Precinct 112 on Bayshore Boulevard. “I thought he was the best candidate on the ballot.”
