He's so snuggly that he's named him after a fabric softener. 

Downey the hound is just a pup - barely a year old - who was found stray in East Tampa outside of Ybor City.  Like all teenagers, Downey just needs a little direction.  He gives hugs and will make a great family dog. 

Meet him during the Pets for Vets event on Monday, Nov. 12. Kids can even send their animal drawings to soldiers overseas.
