After enjoying a dry week and cooler temperatures to signal the end of summer, the South Tampa area will see a return to the conditions of recent months this week.
According to the National Weather Service, scattered showers will be seen around Tampa this week with temperatures topping out at 90 degrees. A 50% chance of showers remains intact through Thursday with storms more likely in the afternoon.
Winds will blow between 5-10 mph over the next few days keeping the humidity under control and allowing the temperature to dip into the comfort of the mid 70s in the evening time.
