Gasparilla Music Festival to Debut in Downtown

The all-day event is set for March 10. Tickets are on sale now.

 

Mark your calendar for March 10, as the Gasparilla Music Festival will debut in downtown.

Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park and the adjacent Kiley Gardens will be transformed into a concert venue at 11 a.m. to feature diverse local and non-local music groups.

Band lineup include the American alt-country band Deer Tick, the alternative folk-rock band Have Gun Will Travel, blues-soul-rock'n'roll singer Kaleigh Baker, the funk and gospel band The Lee Boys, the Grammy Award-winning musician Alvin Youngblood Hart, and the Rebirth Brass Band.

More music groups will be announced in the coming weeks.

The event will also feature beer and food vendors, including Fly Bar, Holy Hog BBQ Truck, Mise En Place, Sono Cafe, Malio's Prime Steakhouse and Cafe Hey.

Tickets are on sale now. General admission tickets are $15 and VIP tickets are $75. Children under 12 get free admission before 2 p.m.
