“We love serving healthier food and making an actionable difference on the planet every day," said EVOS Co-Founder Michael Jeffers. "So we’re celebrating Earth Day with a free organic milkshake on us.  It’s our way of saying thank you to our guests and the community for their support as we continue to be leaders in our long-standing commitment to the environment and sustainable business practices."

Added Jeffers: "Mother Nature makes the shakes at EVOS; we just put them in cups, using only fresh fruit, all-natural juices and organic milk from cows raised free of added hormones and antibiotics. We’re excited to offer such a flavorful and healthy treat on this special day, made with ingredients that taste great and make you feel great, too.”

EVOS operates daily by its “Earth Day. Every Day” motto. Every EVOS location has the environmental impact of taking eight cars off the road or planting 32 acres of trees every year.

Here’s how: In addition to a healthy menu full of all-natural and organic food choices and ingredients, the restaurant is also committed to clean renewable energy.  EVOS offsets a third of its restaurant energy usage with renewable wind energy. Sustainable materials like recycled wood panels, zero VOC (volatile organic compounds) paints and other various natural raw materials have been used in all EVOS buildings.

Menus and gift cards are also made with recycled paper, and biodegradable vegetable-based cups and bags.
