BB&T Bank Robbery Suspect Robs Two Tennessee Banks, Police Say
Danny Ray Madison, the suspect who robbed the BB&T Bank in downtown last week, robbed two banks in Nashville, Tennessee, in the past two day, according to Tampa Police.
Danny Ray Madison, the suspect who allegedly robbed the BB&T Bank in downtown Tampa on March 13, robbed two banks in Nashville in the past two days, according to Tampa Police.
"Detectives believe he has nothing to lose at this point and the FBI is involved in the cases. During the second Nashville robbery, the suspect was more violent and displayed a gun,” said a Tampa Police press release.
The BB&T Bank that Madison robbed last week was the same bank he robbed twice 10 years ago, according to Tampa Police.
Madison, 47, was recently released from federal prison after serving 10 years for five Tampa bank robberies.
While Madison is in the Nashville area, there may be people in the Tampa area who know him or have information on his whereabouts. The FBI has billboards up throughout Tampa with the suspect's photo.
Anyone with information about the robbery or who recognizes the suspect in the picture is asked to call the Tampa Police Department at 813-231-6130.
