Sign Up Now for Adult and Youth Sports Leagues

Get your best team together and come and compete in our sport leagues. The City of Tampa Parks and Recreation Department is currently taking registrations for adult and youth competitive and recreational sports leagues.

ADULT SPORTS LEAGUES

Slow-pitch Softball - Slow-pitch softball is offered year-round for Men, Women, Church, Co-ed and Sunday Night leagues. The fee is $330 per team plus an ASA annual membership fee of $20. All league organizational meetings begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Wayne C. Papy Athletic Center, located at 6925 N. Florida Ave.

Softball League Organizational Meeting dates:

  • Jan. 5 - Men's league
  • Jan. 8 - Sunday league
  • Jan. 9 - Women's and Co-ed leagues

League play begins the week of Jan. 29.

Co-ed Recreational Volleyball - Co-ed recreational volleyball is a great way to socialize with friends. All players should have knowledge of the bump, set and spike. The league fee is $150 per team. League organizational meeting is Jan. 17 at 7:30 p.m., Copeland Park Community Center, 11001 N. 15th St. League play begins Feb. 7.

Men's Basketball League - This is a competitive league that will play an eight-week regular season with a single elimination tournament. Games played on Thursday evenings at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. The league fee is $310 per team. League organizational meeting is Jan. 12 at 7:30 p.m., NFL YET at Jackson Heights, 3310 E. Lake Ave. League play begins Feb. 9.

Please note: All adult sport league teams must attend the league organizational meeting to register and play in the upcoming season.

YOUTH SPORTS LEAGUES

Youth Soccer - Participants, ages 5-13, will learn the basic soccer skills and have the opportunity to play in every game. All games are played at Henry and Ola Park, located at 502 W. Henry Ave. The league activity fee includes a soccer uniform with shorts, shirt and socks. Players must provide their own shin guards and cleats. Registration is open through Jan. 12. League play begins March 3. To register visit your local community center.

Girls Softball - This softball program is geared towards girls ages 17 and younger and focuses on player development and teamwork. Players must provide their own glove and personal equipment. Current high school players are not eligible for this league. Registration opens Jan. 23. League play begins March 5. To register visit your local community center.
